Omega Ltd. is always looking for a way to improve and implement new technologies in the production process and the product itself.
One of the most difficult processes associated with continuous production of HF longitudinally welded tubes is removal of the internal weld bead (welding seam). The limited space, lack of access to the tool, hot welding flash etc. complicate and make the process very difficult and demanding.
We have already started the production of hollow sections with removed (scarfed) inside welding seam with tollerances according BDS EN 10219, BDS EN 10255 & BDS EN 10305 and size range: from Ø 42.4 to Ø 60.3 ; thickness: from 2.0mm to 4.5mm ; length: from 4000mm to 14000mm.
